Perkembangan Perusahaan Taksi Blue Bird sebagai Penyedia Jasa Transportasi Massal di Indonesia (1970-2015)

This study’s purpose is to explain the development of Blue Bird taxi company as provider mass transportation service in Indonesia between years 1970-2015. The research method used this history method, which consists heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiography. In heuristic phase, researcher gathered resources from primary sources such a book titled Sang Burung Biru, well newspapers that were published during same era. also writing secondary sources, libraries’ annual reports, books are related either transportations or companies. result shows illegally existed within 1960s. Then, 1972, officially operated roads Jakarta until today.
